This series is about a place where reality and fantasy meet. The deep green tones reference a period of introspection and introversion. The blurry aspects of coping and comfort show the darker side of human nature, where we seek solace in unhealthy habits.
The use of food, alcohol and domestic objects as symbols of comfort and security is a commentary on the human desire to control and manipulate our surroundings.
